Annie Morgan McLeod Memorial Scholarship

On March 30, 2008 the sisters of Alpha Gamma Delta suffered a tragic loss when senior Annie Morgan McLeod was killed in a car accident by a drunk driver. Annie was a loyal friend and sister who always found time to help others. Her selfless personality touched the lives of all she came across. There have been so many news articles about Annie, but Tyler Roberts’ article from The Seahawk touches our heart the most. Though she is no longer with us, her memory will forever live on in our hearts.

In remembrance of Annie, the sisters of Alpha Gamma Delta started a scholarship in her name. In spring of 2017 we were able to fully endow the scholarship. This scholarship will let us be able to award a student at UNCW a scholarship of $1,100 every year in memory of Annie.

We continue to support Annie every year by partnering with CARE to host an AMM week where we spread awareness about drinking and driving.
